During work today, after a few not so pleasant encounters, I starting thinking about jobs that I (me personally) would not want to make the employee's mad. For example, why yell at the waiter? why even be rude to them? The have something you are about to ingest. Did you see them make it? Not usually. What about the mail-man\lady? ya, that check you've been waiting for? haven't seen it. Maybe the floss that dental assistant was using has suddenly changed from green to red quicker than usual, "oops". Or the receptionist at the doctors office you keep throwing attitude at? "ya, the doctor is suddenly running a few hours behind today." I'm not saying the employees in these situations
would do anything like this, but I wonder sometimes. I have a hard time when people throw a fit about seemingly insignificant things. What happened to the lessons we all learned around age 3. Be nice, Don't yell, use please and thank you's, etc. Maybe stop next time before you decide to react, is this going to matter in a year? how about tomorrow? if not, why not just let it go?
"Can't we all just get along?"
I don't know.... just a thought. :)
