East Coast Trip!

So Jake and I went on a trip to NYC, Philly, and Pittsburgh. It was So much fun! We went for about ten days. We were able to see his parents, My brother and Sister-in-law, and see where Jake grew up. The flight to NYC was way too long. There was a ground hold on JFK so we ended up circling just outside NYC until we had to land in Scranton to refuel. We finally got there and it was still fun :) We went to the Met, Central Park and Drove through down town NYC. Then we rode a train to Philly where Colby picked us up. It was great to see Colby, Alyssa, and Lincoln. We saw the Liberty bell & Independence Hall, Valley Forge, and the USS New Jersey.
Then we flew to Pittsburgh. I got to see where Jake grew up and all the yummy places to eat. :) I went to H&M for the first time, was pretty cool. We rode the incline and saw a great view of Pittsburgh. Jake took me to dinner at a place called the Church Brew Works. Its a church that they turned into a restaurant. I had Kobe Beef for the first time and it was amazing :) We went to the Carnegie Museum. Jake and I had a great trip. :) Jake's blog is way more detailed and has more pictures. Hope he doesn't mind ;)

Jenna Marie

I decided I haven't taken any new pictures lately. So I talked Jenna into modeling for me. She's such a beautiful girl! :)

While Jenna and I were talking about what to have her wear, Zoey decided she wanted to find something else to wear also. Here's what she found. :) a baby blue knit beanie (that she kept pulled down WAY over her eyes except for in the picture), pink leggings, purple socks, brown shoes, and a black pearl necklace. She's so funny! :)

Barbie Bike Adventure

A little background first. I work for and online marketing company. Its not the typical place of business, work is fun. We're generally very busy, but somehow with the people they hire, we all have a blast. Dice wars, bike rides, ping-pong tournaments, softball, frequent food deliveries and snacks. So today Keely and I decided to take a bike ride to the gas station. It was quite refreshing. But on the way we noticed a semi trailer that would usually be used for transporting loads of cars. We got closer and noticed that there was something on this mostly empty trailer.

There was a little pink remote control Barbie car tied down on the back of this trailer. I thought it was pretty funny.

Gun Slinger

So Sunday Jake, Ryan, and I decided to go shooting. It started off okay, I even posed with my super sweet hand gun on my hip! We went and bought lots of cheap generic brand soda to shoot at. We decided to go up hobble creek (if you pronounce that kr-ick your a red neck or of the elderly status.) It was a pretty fun day until I got lazy. I don't really have an excuse besides that. I wasn't holding the .30-06 tight enough. The scope kicked me in the face pretty good. It left a nice dent just above my eyebrow and a great bruise on my right shoulder. I felt pretty stupid and I can no longer make fun of the people that have done this. :) But its not going to keep me from going shooting again.

Coolest Father's Day Present Since 1988!

Jake and I were talking about how funny it is when little kids make their parents gifts. Most parents love it right? Cheerios glued to a beautifully colored paper that sits on the fridge for months. Fruitloop and yarn necklaces that get "lost" so mom doesn't have to keep wearing it. So we thought it would be funny to make Doug a UPS truck out of Popsicle sticks. I think It turned out pretty well. Jake and I probably had more fun making it than Doug did getting it. :) The back also comes off and attaches with magnets. (don't worry the real present was in the truck) It was pretty fun to make and I'm pretty sure Doug got a kick out of it.
This was before Jake spray painted it brown.
