Quotes

I just like these quotes, this is more for me than anything else.

"...The clothes in your closet that are no longer any good get thrown away and the food in the refrigerator that has gone bad gets thrown away. so why keep friends that are no longer any good. If they have abused or misused your friendship just toss them aside like the rest of the junk in your life. If you keep these people around they will abuse you more and disappoint you over and over..."
 - Rena D

"....part of letting go is that we can never truly feel the joy of today as long as we’re continuing to process or make sense of a past event."

"...there are only three options, remove yourself from the situation, change it, or accept it."

"Your worst enemy cannot harm you as much as your own unguarded thoughts." -Buddha

"A beautiful thing is never perfect." -Proverb

"We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them." -Albert Einstein

“Every day may not be good, but there’s something good in every day.” ~Unknown

“I still feel bad. I accept it. I know I won’t always feel bad, and it will change as soon as I’m ready.”
- Tiny Buddha

Update

January and the first part of February were not great for me. To give the shortened version I have 2 herniated disc and had to see a specialist. They gave me a very painful injection (like an epidural without the paralizing factor) that has really helped. No more shooting pain down my leg! But it took me almost 3 weeks to get in to the Orthopedic Surgeon to get this injection.  (unless you're unconcious and need surgery,  :) I would not recomend him.)
I pretty much just laid around for 3+ weeks. It just about made me completely crazy. I think I'm still working on recovering. So, to all the stay at home moms/homemakers/etc. You're amazing! I cant do it.  :)
I'm back to work now. I guess its a good thing, it has given me prespective. Getting a little break from work is great. But a month is not so great. The little bit of time work keeps me out of the house is almost necessary for me.
My poor husband has put up with my incessant nagging about getting out of the house, "doing something besides watch tv", craky-ness, (ok, mood swing insanity sounds more fitting) and he's done it all with a smile while working like crazy. :) I have the best husband in the world. Seriously, if this last 2 months hasn't convinced him to leave me, nothing will. ;)
Trying to focus on positive:  My husband is incredible. I love my jobs. We have a house, not an apartment. We have great insurance for my accident prone butt.  I think I'm scaring myself into going to the gym. :) If nothing else, its made me believe in this quote more than ever.

"That which does not kill us makes us stronger."

Fighting hard to Remember this.

This past week/weekend has been one of the toughest ones I've had in a long time.  I'm trying so incredibly hard to remember this.

However you want to say it.
Religious or not.

Necklace Holder

I saw this idea online and wanted to make it. I'm always having to un-knot my necklaces before I wear them. Now I don't have to. I used an old picture frame that we don't use anymore. I spray-painted it black, then wrapped the frame's mat in fabric and taped it down. I put that and the backing back in the frame. (minus the glass) I added a few nails at the top and hung my necklaces.

Being Crafty.

I've picked up a hobby with my mom of making jewelry. Since I'm layed up and not able to do much lately, this has been really fun for me.
