A Few Updates...

Well, I finished my CNA class. I'm just waiting for my state test scores to come back. I'm also a 4 days from finishing the summer semester at UVU and heading to state testing to get my EMT-B. I'm kinda sad to see the EMT class end. We always learned about something I was interested in. :)  I'm thinking if I have room in my schedule, I might go for the EMT-I next summer. :)  Anyway, here are a few pictures from the last couple months.

Note to self, do not wear flip flops to
extricate people in class. .... or a dress.. ;)
Gotta love spending time with the nieces and nephews!

I'm pretty impressed, Lincoln took this picture with my phone.
Tessa, Zoey, and Lincoln playing crack the
egg on Flo's trampoline. Quite entertaining. :)

Home Projects....
Jake mowed the weeds in the back yard and had to stop and clean up the yard first. This is what he found. :) I'm not sure why, but Riley has this thing with taking her raw hides and toys outside. even if we leave one outside and give her one thats not coated in dirt for inside, she'll still take anything we give her to the back yard. oh, the half chewed bear on the right of the picture, is filled with cement. But somehow Riley finds a way to toss it around like a chew toy. (thats when we walk inside and close the door so we don't lose a toe)

Our back door is finally giving up the ghost. We closed it one day after letting Riley out and glass shattered on the floor. so for now, its taped up. looks classy ;) We're thinking about getting something like this to replace it.

I've also been continuing to search for another job. Well after a few months of applying, I found the perfect position, and got it. :) I now work at HVMC. Its a bit of a drive. But its amazing how things like that don't seem to matter when you're doing something you truly enjoy. Also, how can it be a bad drive when you get to spend 90% of it driving through a gorgeous canyon like this.

My one week break from school this year....
Jake and I decided to take a trip during the week I have off between semesters. We're renting a car and driving to AZ to visit my Brother and Sister-in-law. We're planning on spending some time hiking and lots of time with the niece and nephew. Then its off to LA to do the same with Jake's Sister and Brother-in-law.  :) I'm sure we'll have lots of pictures to post when we get back.

Then its back to the books. This next semester is a little indimidating to me. I'm only taking 12 credits, which seems like nothing compared to the 21 I took this summer.  But Chemistry is something I never took in high school and I'm not quite sure what to expect.  Anatomy, I'm pretty excited for. I just know that its a TON of work.  Its all about memorization.  and the other 3 credits are random 1 credit pilates, yoga, and aerobics classes to keep me active and stress free. (ha, "stress free"...right)  :)
