Well, I started the Couch to 5k program yesterday. Supposedly at the end of 9 weeks you'll be able to run a 5k. First week its walk 5 minutes, run 60 seconds, walk 90 seconds, run 60. You repeat that run/walk process for 20 minutes. then its a 5 minute cool down. Each week the running gets a little longer. I've never been one to run but I actually did it. Granted, I my face was completely red and I felt like a fat kid chasing a twinkie! But, I did it, the whole thing, without cheating! haha Gotta start somewhere right? Thats the part I have to get past. (there have been many previous attempts) But I like this program, I don't have to just RUN for 20 minutes straight, that sounds so horrible.
